Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of useguardhouse.com and the services of Kline Technology LLC, doing business as Guardhouse ("Guardhouse", "we", "us"), of Tulsa, Oklahoma. By using the site or our services you agree to them.

The free site check

The site check looks only at what any visitor can see. It may miss things, and it is provided for information, not as a security audit or guarantee. Prices shown in a report are quotes based on what we found; we may revise a quote if the site turns out to differ from what the check saw.

Rebuild, preview and approval

If you request one, we prepare a free preview, normally within 3 business days. You pay nothing unless you approve it. When you approve and pay the one-time rebuild fee, we finish the site and, with your help, move your domain to it. Your old site stays online until the switch. We do not move online stores, member logins or booking systems.

Hosting plans

Yearly plans cover hosting, security and the changes listed for your plan. Your plan starts on the day your site goes live. Plans renew yearly on the payment method you saved unless cancelled before renewal. Change allowances are monthly and do not roll over. Fees are listed on our pricing page and are non-refundable except where we say otherwise or the law requires.

Your content and ownership

You keep ownership of your content, and you promise you have the right to publish it. You give us permission to copy, host and modify it as needed to provide the service. If you leave, we will provide the complete files for your site.

Texts and email requests

You may authorize people to request changes by text or email. We act on requests from approved numbers and addresses, and nothing goes live until an authorized person approves it. You are responsible for the people you authorize. Text messaging is also governed by our SMS Terms.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for unlawful, deceptive or harmful content, to attack or probe sites you do not have permission to check, or to overload our systems. We may refuse or suspend service for violations.

Disclaimer of warranties

The services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or immune from attack, or that search rankings will be unchanged.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Kline Technology LLC and its owners, employees and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to the services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end service for non-payment or violation of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Tulsa County, Oklahoma, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
