Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Kline Technology LLC, doing business as Guardhouse ("Guardhouse", "we", "us"), collects when you use useguardhouse.com and our services, and what we do with it. We are based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

What we collect

• Site checks. When you enter a website address, we fetch the public pages of that site the way any visitor would. We store the address, what we find on those pages (for example software versions, plugins and page text), the report we generate, and a salted one-way hash of your IP address that we use to limit abuse. We do not log in to your site or ask for passwords.
• Forms. If you request a preview, join the partner waitlist, or ask us to email you a report, we collect what you type, such as your name, email address, organization type, optional phone number and notes.
• Customers. If you become a customer, we also collect billing details (handled by Stripe, so we never see full card numbers), the phone numbers you approve for texting us, and the messages and attachments you send to request changes.
• Technical data. Our servers and Cloudflare log standard request information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.

Cookies and ad attribution

We use one first-party cookie, gh_attr, to remember how you first found us. If you arrive from an ad or a link with tracking parameters (such as gclid or utm_source), the cookie stores those values, the first page you landed on and the date. It lasts 90 days and is only set on your first visit. We attach it to your site check or request so we can tell which ads work. We also use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots; it may set its own cookies or storage in your browser. If we enable Google Ads conversion measurement, Google may set cookies when you interact with the site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works.

How we use information

• To run the site check, produce your report and price, and prepare your free preview.
• To build, host and update your website, and to respond to change requests you send by text or email.
• To email you the report or follow-ups you asked for. You can unsubscribe in any message.
• To process payments, prevent abuse, secure our systems, and measure whether our advertising works.
• To meet legal obligations.

Text messages

We do not share or sell phone numbers or SMS opt-in data to third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers and SMS opt-in information are used only to send the messages you agreed to receive, and may be passed to our messaging provider solely to deliver them. Who processes data for us

We use these service providers, who handle data only to provide their service to us:

• Cloudflare for hosting, our database and storage, bot protection (Turnstile), and email routing.
• Anthropic to analyze the public content of a site you ask us to check and to help prepare changes. We send them website content, not your payment details.
• Stripe to take payments and manage subscriptions.
• Telnyx to send and receive text messages.
• Plunk to send email.
• Google for Google PageSpeed measurements of public sites and, if enabled, Google Ads conversion measurement.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

Retention

Raw crawl data from site checks is deleted after about 30 days. Reports and customer records are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal and accounting obligations. Ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or opt out of email or texts, by writing to hello@useguardhouse.com. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.

Security and children

We use industry-standard safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure. Our services are for businesses and organizations and are not directed to children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for material changes, tell customers by email.
